Soft Serve Machine Instructions

POWER REQUIREMENTS

Soft serve machine must be plugged into a twenty amp outlet. Peak draw is approximately 16 amps which will pop a 15 amp breaker. Make sure you have the proper power requirements before using this machine.

PREPARING MIXTURE

Add one packet of soft serve mix to two quarts of water (use a container that holds more than two quarts). Stir thoroughly. Pour mix into one of the vats on the top of the machine. Repeat for 2nd vat using a second flavor if desired.

HOW TO START

Push the "Auto" button to start. Temperature can be adjusted, 2.5-4.5 for desired consistency. Settings higher than 4.5 can cause material to freeze up. Freeze up can also start to occur when volume of material gets too low—(machine will be working harder and get louder. Reduce temperature setting and or add more mixture).

LEAD TIME

One packet of UPOURIA or 1/4 packet of frostline® mix in each side will take approximately 12 minutes. Two packets of UPOURIA or 1/2 packet of frostline® in each side will take approximately 20 minutes.

HOW TO SERVE

Left handle serves from left vat, right handle serves from right vat, center handle makes a twist of the two flavors.

SERVINGS

Two UPOURIA packets or 1/2 frostline® packets will make approximately forty 4 oz servings.

CLEAN UP

Let contents of machine thaw out for several hours before cleaning if possible. Drain contents. Pour water into vats, press the “clean” button. Let it run on clean for about 30 seconds and drain, then push the “stop” button. Repeat this process until water comes out clear. This may take up to 4 gallons of water per side to get the machine clean.
